Texas'
oldest yacht club. Activities include sailing, racing,
cruising, power boating, regattas, social, family events,
and sailing school. Established in 1897, just 30 minutes
from downtown Houston on Galveston Bay near Clear Lake.
The
Water Babies Sailing Club is a 15 year old, informal organization
of sailing enthusiasts. Our nationwide constituency is
predominately made up of African American professionals
who share a common love for adventure in general and the
sea in specific. The club organizes and conducts annual
bareboat cruises to various exotic locations.
